Caring For Your Jewelry

Our pieces are completely handmade, and we stand behind our quality. The care and treatment of your jewelry is your responsibility. It's important that you follow our instructions to keep your jewelry and your stone happy.

We know your jewelry will last if cared for properly.

Keepsake Jewelry Care

This is not a "wear all the time/never take off" piece of jewelry.

The stone is the most delicate part of your piece, and it can become damaged with too much exposure to water, soaps, chemicals, etc.

Caring for your item
  • Remove before entering water (hand-washing, swimming, shower, bath, hot tub, etc)
  • Remove before heavy hands-on work
  • Take off when using soaps, sanitizer, chemicals, lotions, etc.
  • Use polishing cloth for ONLY the metal of the piece (not the stone). Sunshine cloths are our favorite!
  • Remove to sleep
  • Use tarnish resistant bag/pouch to slow tarnishing*. Store away form heat and moisture

*Tarnishing is normal and expected with sterling silver and brass pieces. If you care for it and store it correctly, you won't have to clean it as much.

    Regular Jewelry Care

Sterling silver is pretty durable as far as frequent wear and getting wet and such. And the stones are real stones, so they are more durable than the keepsake resin stones. But for the longevity of your piece, it's best to still be cautious of things that could potentially damage your jewelry.

    Caring for your item
    • Typically hand-washing, showering, and water exposure is ok. But to be safe, remove before swimming/hot tubs, chemicals, lotions, etc.
    • Remove before heavy hands-on work
    • Use polishing cloth to clean the metal. Sunshine cloths are our favorite!
    • Use tarnish resistant bag/pouch to slow tarnishing*. Store away form heat and moisture

*Tarnishing is normal and expected with sterling silver and brass pieces. If you care for it and store it correctly, you won't have to clean it as much. Actually the more frequently you wear it, the less it will tarnish because the oils in your skin "clean" the metal.

      Rollerball Necklace Care

      Caring for your item
      • Avoid over tightening the bottle to the cap
      • Use provided tool to remove roller fitment from bottle
      • Use polishing cloth to clean & shine the metal of the piece. Sunshine cloths are our favorite!
      • Use tarnish resistant bag/pouch to slow tarnishing*. Store away from heat and moisture

*Tarnishing is normal and expected with sterling silver and brass pieces. If you care for it and store it correctly, you won't have to clean it as much.
